Causal Rasch Models
The fifth annual ORVOMS (Ohio River
Valley Objective Measurement Seminar) will be held on Friday, October 16th,
2015 at the University of Kentucky’s College of Education in Lexington,
KY. There will be presentations related
the construction of Rasch-based social science rulers and their application.
Discussions related to the philosophical foundations of the model will also be
included. This meeting is intended to be
multidisciplinary with the common thread being measurement.
Purpose of this conference is to provide
a regional vehicle for Rasch model users to present their work, to meet and
exchange ideas, and to provide a friendly environment for people new to the
Rasch model to be able to learn more about the model. Topics typically include the dichotomous model,
facets applications, rating scale model for surveys, scale construction, and paired
comparisons.
There
is no fee to attend. All are welcome.
